TBP Presents: Transmitter Brewing (Long Island City, NYC)

On Sunday, August 3rd I headed down to Transmitter Brewing in Long Island City, NYC. As one of NYC’s newest breweries focusing on yeast driven beer, rather than IPAs etc.; their belgian style farmhouse ales are quite unique and pack a lot of complexity. In this tour video founders / breweries Rob And Anthony show me around their nano-brewery and answer a few of my questions that I feel will highlight some of what makes Transmitter Brewing a new brewery with a lot of potential. Enjoy and Cheers!

An Interview With Short’s Brewing Company: Hopunion LLC

Midwest Beer and Wine

A nice interview on the Hopunion LLC YouTube channel, featuring Short’s Brewing Company, of Bellaire, Michigan. Short’s has a reputation for producing unique beer products, and in fact, the video is titled “Brewing With Unique Ingredients at Short’s Brewing Company”. The discussion in the video, to me, highlights precisely the allure and the entrepreneurial spirit of this dynamic industry. The craft beer industry’s love of experimentation, even at the risk of failure, in order to create a winning product, puts it in stark contrast with the “play it safe” mentality of Corporate America.
