Laguintas Little Sumpin Sumpin Ale

Laguintas – Little Sumpin Sumpin Ale: This California brewed filtered summer pale wheat ale was created at a strength of 7.5% abv with 64 IBU’s and was enjoyed from a bottle that I poured into a beer glass.

Aroma and Appearance: As shown in the photo, the colour is golden yellow with 2 fingers of foam on the pour that roused lots of bubbles in the center. The aroma is fruity hops with a tangerine citrus, some mango and a peach note.

Flavour: I got sort of a doughy malt with a refreshing juicy middle and a somewhat earthy resinous finish.

Overall Impression: Not a tonne going on here, but it does what it does fairly well and makes a decent hot day drinker.

Rating: I thought it was very good, 7/10. You could pack a lot of these back easily as the booze is not noticeable.
